Summary
In this paper, the evaporation of water in sub-atmospheric pressure is studied under operating conditions typical of adsorption air conditioning applications. Heat transfer properties of high heat transfer surface density aluminum heat exchangers are studied employing two different experimental setups located at Fraunhofer ISE and CNR-ITAE laboratories. The effect of several operating parameters was evaluated.
