Summary

In most cases, safety requirements for such cooling installations are included as regulations in the Environmental Control Permit Act. Companies which apply for such a permit, or already have one, have to deal with these regulations. NEN 3380 used to be the standard for refrigeration installations. This is still in force, but the CPR-13 standard has applied to ammonia installations since the end of the eighties.
