Ammonia refrigerating systems of new generation, environmental safety and protection.
Author(s) : CHUMAK I. G., CHEPURNENKO V. P., TERZIEV G. S., ONISCHENKO V. P.
Summary
These systems use highly effective heat-exchange equipment and intensive circulation of ammonia in the system, along with oil disolved in ammonia. Safe systems of average and large capacity (more than 1000 kilowatts) that need less than 50 kg of ammonia charge will thus be possible. Experimental data are given on this new type of unit.
