Ammonia-water absorption machines: theoretical and actual performances.
[In Italian. / En italien.]
Author(s) : LAZZARIN R. M., LONGO G. A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Ammonia-water absorption machines can operate at temperatures down to -20 or -25 deg C for use in industrial refrigeration applications, ie, at temperatures well below those that are typical of air conditioning, ie, around -20 to -25 deg C. The article describes an air-cooled absorption machine for refrigeration applications anc compares the performances claimed by the manufacturer with the results of a simulation model of the machine.
