An alternative cooling scheme for the TeV superconducting linear accelerator project.
Author(s) : ROUSSET B., VIARGUES F.
Summary
The TESLA project is a collider composed of two 10-km long superconducting linear accelerators. The cavities are cooled below 2 K by superfluid helium. A double-bath cooling scheme similar to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) one is proposed.
