Summary

This system can be used to adjust the temperature between 2 and 80 deg C with a variation speed as great as 1 deg C per second. The authors studied growth in gelatin of Salmonella typhimurium LT2 cells subjected to sinusoidal variations of temperature between 12 and 22 deg C. Mathematical models are presented that describe the growth of cells as a function of the temperature.
