Summary
The expert system with flow prediction diagnosis for HVAC systems which was developed: the computer aid maintenance system using artificial intelligence technology. The system diagnoses the flows of HVAC systems in two steps by constantly monitoring data: first, flow prediction, then diagnosis which detects any possible trouble in equipment. The system can also monitor HVAC systems in multiple buildings by using a telephone network. The system was installed in a Tokyo train station. The operating status parameters were constantly measured and monitored; the system reduced the work load of maintenance personnel.
