Summary

The paper studies in detail the thermodynamic properties of R134a. A survey of measurements on this fluid is made. Some of the results are used to establish an equation of state, that will be optimized, from which complete tables of the thermodynamic properties of the fluid will be derived (between temperatures of 170 and 455 K) and pressures up to 70 megapascals.
