Summary
When using outside air (free cooling) natural cold, a significant amount of electricity is saved. Saving electricity depends on the environmental conditions and on the given cold-medium outlet temperature. The more heat load is released by free cooling, the less is energy consumption. Moreover, the service life of the compressor is prolonged. It is therefore important to know the final temperature of cooling.
