Summary
Original mathematical models of heat exchangers for indirect air cooling are presented. The cooling is realised by means of liquid evaporation with four following airflow schemes: con-current, counter-current, regenerative, and cross-current air flows. The operation of the exchangers has been analysed on the basis of said schemes in various climatic conditions. The results of numerical simulations will be presented in the next part of the paper.
