ANALYSIS OF THE REGENERATIVE CYCLES IN MINIATURE MAGNETOCALORIC CRYOGENIC SYSTEM.

Summary

THE USE OF REGENERATIVE MAGNETOCALORIC REFRIGERATION ALLOWS TO PRODUCE HIGH EFFICIENT MINIATURE REFRIGERATORS, WHICH OPERATE IN A WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE. THERE ARE LIMITATIONS IN THE SELECTION OF WORKING FLUIDS FOR THESE REFRIGERATORS. THE LIMITATIONS ARE CAUSED BY NON EQUIDISTANCE OF CURVES OF CONSTANT MAGNETIC FIELD ON ENTROPY TEMPERATURE DIAGRAM. THE ANALYSIS OF INFLUENCES OF PROPERTIES OF THE WORKING FLUIDS ON THE CYCLE PARAMETERS, IN PARTICULAR ON THE COOLING POWER, ALLOWS TO DISCOVER A NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE PRODUCTION OF REGENERATIVE MAGNETOCALORIC MINIATURE REFRIGERATORS.
