SELF-REGULATION IN MINIATURE JOULE-THOMSON REFRIGERATORS.

Author(s) : LANDA Ju. I.

Summary

A DESCRIPTION OF THE REFRIGERATION PROCESS IN MINIATURE JOULE-THOMSON REFRIGERATORS (JTR) IS GIVEN. THE REGULATION PROBLEMS FOR JTR OF GAS-BAG AND COMPRESSION TYPES ARE FORMULATED. THE EFFECT OF SELF-REGULATION IS SHOWN TO GIVE AN OPTIMAL SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM. THE CHARACTERISTICS OF SELF-REGULATED JTR WITH A DILATOMETRIC REGULATOR FIT FOR WORK BOTH ON MONOCRYOAGENTS AND ON GAS MIXTURES. DIFFERENT EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE GIVEN. THEIR APPLICATION IS SHOWN TO PROVIDE FOR THE FUTURE, POSSIBILITIES IN INCREASING THEIR EFFICIENCY AND MAINTENANCE CHARACTERISTICS.
