Summary
IT IS DESIRABLE THAT THE UNITS SHOULD BE LOCATED NEAR RESIDUAL OR NATURAL, LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT SOURCES, MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO USE AN ECONOMICAL HEAT SUPPLY. THE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF THE COUNTRY AND THE INCREASE IN HEATING COSTS HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT. EXAMPLES OF PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS OF WATER-WATER, WATER-AIR AND AIR-AIR HEAT PUMPS ARE DISCUSSED. THE RESULTS OBTAINED AND THE DIAGRAMS USED ARE GIVEN.
