MUNICIPAL SEWAGE WATER SATISFIES MANY OF THE REQUIREMENTS IMPOSED ON A GOOD HEAT SOURCE FOR HEAT PUMPS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS PAPER IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPECIFIC PROPERTIES OF SEWAGE WATER AS A HEAT SOURCE AND TO DESCRIBE HOW HEAT PUMPS SHOULD BE ADAPTED TO THESE PROPERTIES.
