Annex 21 results - Canada.
Author(s) : CANE R. L. D., CLEMES S. B.
Summary
In addition to the current stock of 400 industrial heat pumps in Canada, the analysis predicted that a potential for 225 new installations exists by the year 2010 in the 14 industries examined. If extrapolated to all Canadian process industries, over 40 new installations could be installed annually, leading to annual energy savings of about 40,000 TJ and annual cost savings of 200 million dollars.
