Summary
The characteristics of the example project, its indoor air-conditioning system and groundwater-system design procedure and the control requirements of the variable-flow system are analyzed. The groundwater-source water-loop heat-pump system is compared with the home split air-conditioning unit in equipment setting, operating costs and environmental benefits, showing that it is more advantageous in terms of energy-saving and environmental protection.
