Summary
COMPREHENSIVE DATA ON THE PROPERTIES OF REFRIGERANTS, PARTICULARLY THERMAL AND STATE PROPERTIES, HAVE BEEN DRAWN UP IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL STANDARD CSN 14 0341 -. EACH OF THE STATE AND THERMAL PROPERTIES ARE EXPRESSED IN A SINGLE EQUATION COVERING THE ENTIRE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE RANGES WITH THE GENERAL FORM BEING IDENTICAL FOR ALL REFRIGERANTS, BUT WITH EACH REFRIGERANT THE CONSTANT IS SUBSTITUTED. DURING LAST YEAR, THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING FACULTY OF PRAGUE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY BEGAN BUILDING UP DESIGN PROGRAMMES FOR THERMAL CALCULATIONS IN THE FORTRAN SYSTEM.
