Summary

Strict control of adjusted critical parameters of the cryopreserved cell concentrates at infusion led to standardizatioon of leukocyte engraftment in autologous progenitor cell transplantation. The risk of delayed engraftment assessed by the FMEA method was classified as low. Adjustment of storage conditions according to the requirements of the European Pharmacopoiea led to the 46% increase of liquid nitrogen consumption and increase of storage costs in comparison with the period when storage at -80°C was used simultaneously.
