INVESTIGATES WHICH HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS ARE SUITED FOR APPLICATION IN VARIOUS TYPES OF BUILDING AND THE ORDER OF MAGNITUDE OF ENERGY DEMAND INVOLVED. ANALYSES THE SUITABILITY OF THE HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS USING THE CRITERIA OF ENERGY SOURCE, THE CONSEQUENT MODE OF OPERATION, MARKET SITUATION, HEAT PUMP COSTS ANDTHE ENERGY DEMAND OF THE SYSTEM EMPLOYED.
