Summary

IN THIS PAPER THE VACUUM COOLING PROCESS IS DISCUSSED BY MAKING ANALYSES OF THE SUB-PROCESSES. SEVERAL CONSTRUCTIONS OF VACUUM TANKS ARE BEING COMPARED, SUCH AS APPLICATION OF ONE TANK OR TWO, APPLICATION OF ICE ACCUMULATION OR NOT. ATTENTION IS PAID TO THE TEMPERATURE OF THE WATER VAPOUR CONDENSER AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE VACUUM TIME. INFORMATION IS GIVEN ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE VARIOUS MAINGROUPS IN THE VACUUM COOLING INSTALLATION AND THE CONNECTION IN RESPECT OF VACUUM-, COOLING-AND TRANSPORT SYSTEM. ALSO THE SET-UP OF THE INSTALLATION HAS BEEN CONSIDERED IN REGARD TO INTERNAL TRANSPORT.
