Summary

THE PAPER PRESENTS THE HIGH ACCURACY CONTROL OF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FREEZE-DRIER SHELF USING A MICROPROCESSOR AND A TWO-POSITION CONTROL DEVICE. RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HEAT AND TEMPERATURE CAN BE OBTAINED AND THE PROBLEMS OF CORRELATION AND DECOUPLING REQUIRED FOR THE MULTIVARIABLE SYSTEM CAN BE SOLVED. THE TESTS SHOWED THAT A CONTROL ACCURACY OF 0.2 K IS REACHED. DUE TO THE SIMPLICITY OF THE EQUIPMENT, ITS RELIABILITY AND ITS ECONOMY ARE HIGHER THAN THOSE OF CONVENTIONAL INSTRUMENTS. THE METHOD PROPOSED HAS OTHER SPECIAL FUNCTIONS SUCH AS MULTI-TEMPERATURE, VARIABLE SPEED, WITHOUT EXCESS, ETC.
