STATES THAT ACCORDING TO THE CEN, ONCE CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL STANDARDS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED, A STANDARDIZATION OF THE DIVERSE FLAT ROOF CONSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE UNDERTAKEN. PRESENTS SIMPLE GRAPHICAL AIDS FOR INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENTS AS A STARTING POINT FOR FURTHER DISCUSSIONS FOR THE UPCOMING EUROPEAN STANDARDIZATION FOR UPSIDE DOWN ROOFS. POINTS OUT THAT THE COMPARATIVE CALCULATIONS PRESENTED DEMONSTRATE THAT CURRENT STANDARDS INGERMANY AND SWITZERLAND FOR THE THERMOTECHNICAL DIMENSIONING OF THESE ROOF CONSTRUCTIONS ARE IN PRESSING NEED OF REVIEW AND DIFFERENTIATION.
