Summary
The authors describe a refrigerating plant for drying with a refrigerating capacity of 11.8 megawatts, designed for the cooling and dehumidification of 100 kg/dry air, down to a temperature of -10 to -15 deg C and a water content of 0.06 g/kg. The plant is two-staged and incorporates an automated system to control the technical processes based on a microprocessor.
