Summary
JSE switched its trading premises from the CBD to the New Exchange Square Development in Sandton on 25 September 2000. The building now occupied by JSE shares the site with two other tenants namely ABN Amro Bank and Deutsche Bank. This was a joint venture development between Group Five and Standard Bank and provides approximately 25 000 m2 of settable office space. The development won the SAPOA 2001 Innovative Excellence Award in the Commercial Development category.
