Summary
The all-glass facade of Bloemfontein's new Civic Centre performed aesthetic and thermal functions as well as reducing construction time. Together with the chilled water air conditioning system the double glazed panels undoubtedly assisted the plant in meeting its design requirements during one of Bloemfontein's hottest summers.
