AT 286 K (13 DEG C), WITHOUT ETHYLENE,RIPENING AND SENESCENCE PROCESSES CAN BE DELAYED BY ABOUT 20 DAYS AS COMPARED TO FRUIT STORED IN AN ENVIRONMENT CONTAINING 0.5 TO 1.5 PPM ETHYLENE.
