Summary

CHEMICAL HEAT PUMPS USING A REVERSIBLE REACTION ARE DISCUSSED AND THE THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF CHEMICAL HEAT PUMP CYCLES IS CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE MOST EFFICIENT SYSTEMS OVER AN ADEQUATE TEMPERATURE RANGE. CHEMICAL HEAT PUMPS ARE CLASSIFIED IN 4 CONFIGURATIONS FOR HEAT STORAGE, HEAT PUMP, REFRIGERATOR AND UPGRADING. THE THERMAL EFFICIENCIES IN 4 CONFIGURATIONS ARE ESTIMATED BY NEGLECTING THE SENSIBLE HEATS.
