Basic policy of JRAIA on global warming prevention measures regarding refrigerant.
Author(s) : FUJIMOTO S.
Summary
Last spring, Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association (JRAIA) established new JRAIA Basic Principles for Global Warning Prevention Measures. Since then, JRAIA and member companies has strengthened comprehensive activities under the principle of "responsible use of F-gas" and carried out the evaluation of low GWP refrigerant. As the results, it was confirmed that there is no acceptable one in current candidates of refrigerant for stationary air conditioner. Therefore, several companies have started to develop a new refrigerant in corporation with Japanese government.
