This report focuses on the investigations and measures taken to adapt a plant producing adhesive tape with the use of highly inflammable solvents which may produce explosive atmospheres to the new safety rules and regulations. The features, sizing, regulation and operation of the ventilation and air conditioning systems designed for this purpose are described.
