Summary

Armed forces health service wholesale distributors ensure the distribution of medicinal products and health products to military structure in metropolitan France, overseas territories and theatres of operations in compliance with good practice guidelines. In order to maintain the cold chain shipments in a wild range situations, sometimes under degraded conditions, the French armed forces are currently reviewing the risk analysis related to transport and deployment of loggers/isothermal boxes for heat-sensitive products. This global review, despite numerous difficulties, will reinforce the pharmaceutical responsibility of military distributors and the supply of medicinal products to the armed forces under optimal conditions.
