Summary

In a view of the increasing number of heat-sensitive medicinal products on the market, control of transport temperature requirements is becoming a major challenge in order to avoid the risk of rupture of the cold chain. The objective of this process is to deliver a product complying with specifications in order to ensure quality and safety of use of these products for patients. Implementation of adequate and specific methods can ensure and reinforce the storage traceability of heat-sensitive products (H5P) during transport. This study was therefore conducted to determine the current status of the methods used to ensure maintenance of the cold chain on hospital reception of medicinal products.
