Summary
The global trend towards liberalization of electricity markets has given customers in many parts of the world more choice of electricity supplier than ever before. Environmental awareness amongst customers, agreements such as the Kyoto Protocol and the fact that fossil fuels are very much a finite resource, all mean that green energy should have an increasingly large role to play in future power generation.
