Calculating the wall Z-transfer function with state space method for unsteady heat transfer through thermal insulation layer.

Summary

In the paper a new method based on the modern control theory is presented, which does not need searching the roots, and with which the Z-transfer function coefficients are found more easily than with the classical method. A state model is set up by dividing a heat insulation layer properly. Leverrier-Faddeeva method is used for getting the Z-transfer function coefficients. The Z-transfer function coefficients of two examples gained with the new method are compared with those obtained with the classical method. They fit very well, and this shows that the new method is accurate.
