Calculation of the transport properties of a multicomponent cryogenic mixture with an equation of state.

Author(s) : GONG M. Q., LUO E. C., ZHOU Y.

Summary

Enskog's dense-gas theory is combined with the simple cubic Peng-Robinson equation of state for predicting the transport properties of a multicomponent mixture. Extensive comparisons with experimental data are made for a wide range of fluid states with temperatures ranging from 94.1 to 335.5 K and pressures ranging from 0.072 to 5.715 megapascals. The total average absolute deviations are 0.81 and 2.42% for thermal conductivity and viscosity predictions, respectively.
