Summary
The knowledge of thermodynamic and thermokinetic properties of refrigerants is essential for the design of refrigeration equipment for the analysis of their energy efficiency, and also for a comparison of the effectiveness of the devices using different refrigerants. recently, the interest in a new refrigerant, R1234yf, has risen. This applies particularly to the automotive industry, in which this refrigerant is to replace the previously used R134a. For the refrigerant R1234yf, part 2 of the article present 4 dependencies defining its properties in the superheated vapour state, and 3 dependencies in the subcooled liquid state. The developed dependencies were verified statistically by calculating the correlation coefficients, the coefficients of determination, as well as the absolute and relative deviations between the given values from the program CoolProp 5.1.1[1 ] and the calculated ones.
