Summary

The author considers two very particular cases of air treatment in underground rooms: 1) mushroom beds (including that of the Centre Technique du Champignon, where an experiment involving computerized automation eases the scientific management of growing through very accurate control of ambience); 2) cave dwelling (generally requiring heating) for which the author notes some data on heat-exchange coefficients between air and surrounding ground.
