Summary
The article reports on the use of a seated computational thermal manikin with geometry of a real human body that is used to study the micro-environment around a human body with and without a personalised ventilation system. Results from computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experiments were compared and improvements in CFD simulation accuracy recommended.
