CHANGES IN COOLING CAPACITY OF A WATER COOLED AIR CONDITIONER CORRESPONDING WITH ITS EXTERNAL PARAMETERS.

Author(s) : CAI W. Q., MA J. C., HE S. S.

Summary

THE AUTHORS PRESENT AN EQUATION FOR CALCULATING THE REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF AN AIR CONDITIONER. THE AUTHORS DEVELOPED THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF AN AIR CONDITIONER UNDER TRANSIENT CONDITIONS AS A FUNCTIONOF EXTERNAL PARAMETERS (FLOW RATE OF WATER TO THE CONDENSER, WET BULB TEMPERATURE OF THE INLET AIR) AND SHOW THAT A SINGLE TEST CAN REPLACE THE FIELD TESTING OF EQUIPMENT, THUS SAVING ENERGY. IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO SELECT THE MODEL AIR CONDITIONER CORRESPONDING TO REQUIREMENTS.
