Summary

FOR THESE REFRIGERATING MACHINES THE THERMODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS, THE THERMAL COEFFICIENTS AND THE CONSUMPTION CHARACTERISTICS OBTAINED EXPERIMENTALLY FOR VARIOUS OPERATING CONDITIONS ARE GIVEN. A TEST RIG, THE MEASURING METHOD AND DATA PROCESSING ARE DESCRIBED. BASING ON TEST STUDIES, THE AUTHORS DERIVED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AND SPECIFIC HEAT FLOW, REFLUX DENSITY, THE PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM AND CONCENTRATION FOR THE DEGASSING CONDITIONS OF THE WATER-AMMONIA SOLUTION FOR LOW PRESSURES AND TEMPERATURES.
