Chilled water storage performance improvement.
Author(s) : GANSLER R. A., REINDL D. T., TOMPKINS D. T.
Summary
The paper summarizes the results of a study performed to explore the possibility of reviving an abandoned chilled water thermal storage system at the Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. By utilizing the existing chilled water storage system, utility operational cost savings of nearly USD 3,000 per month are expected when compared with the current chilling system.
