Cooling thermal storage capital cost economies.
Author(s) : SAWERS J. B., AKKERMAN R.
Summary
Three constructed projects are presented as case studies. The case study projects utilize both stratified chilled water thermal storage and ice thermal storage in combination with low-temperature air supply. By discussing the case studies, the factors that contributed to the competitive capital cost of the thermal storage systems are presented. In addition, more generalized factors are discussed.
