Summary

From 1978 to 1988, the accumulation of chilling by peach flower buds in central Poland was estimated. It was expressed in chill units and in hours of cooling (exposure to temperature 0-7 deg C). From the beginning of November to the end of December the flower buds received the required chilling time (above 900 hours), necessary to break resting period.
