TRIALS WERE CARRIED OUT AT STORAGE TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 0 TO12 DEG C FOR PERIODS OF 10 TO 31 DAYS STORAGE. CHILLING RELATED SYMPTOMS WERE FOUND AT 0 DEG C AND THE FRUIT WAS LESS MATURE THAN AT 8, 10 OR 12 DEG C. IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT 8 DEG C IS THE MOST SUITABLE TEMPERATURE. G.R.S.
