Summary

City gas is liquefied and stored during off-peak hours; during peak hours the liquid gas is vaporized and send out. The system adopts the cold energy storage technology using latent and sensible heat of a new refrigerant (mixed alcohol). The LNG cryogenic energy released at the time of LNG vaporization is stored by the refrigerant and exploited when city gas is liquefied. Power consumption is reduced for liquefaction and vaporization by the cold energy storage system.
