Summary

Eutectic plates are used for thermal storage in small- and medium-size refrigeration plants. The methods used for the intensification of heat exchange during freezing of the eutectic plates in an ice maker and during cooling of the object are described. The design of refrigeration accumulating packs used in heat insulated containers is presented.
