Summary
Cold chamber consists a closed space surrounded by partitions with high thermal and vapour insulation, in which constant temperature and increasingly modified atmosphere are held, according to the required storage conditions for the product. This article presents an overview of some technical issues related to chambers employed in cooling storage of fruits and vegetables.
