Summary

When sizing refrigerating systems for cold rooms, it is important to consider heat intakes. The following parameters were calculated: the coefficient K of the insulating panels and the thickness of the styropiane and polyurethane foam insulation used for the walls, the ceiling and the floor. Cold rooms, supplied in kit form, are often assembled on site. In the case of low temperatures, floor heating and equalizing valves can be used in order to prevent ground freezing and negative pressures affecting airtightness. The article reviews the principles, requirements and technical conditions for proper product preservation.
