Summary

Having reviewed the interest in the method, the paper describes a study on a model of transplants of human bronchial tumours on athymic mice and a clinical investigation carried out during 4 years on 35 patients. The current clinical studies establish the benefit of brochial clearance before irradiation by cryotherapy in the same way as by laser, but they also identify a radiosensibility effect of cryotherapy emphasizing the efficiency of the combination.
