Summary

The numerical simulation on a multizone model, simplified by means of a modal analysis, investigates the overall dynamics of the solar source for a residence. The architectural model uses simulated elements corresponding to the common basic building concepts. The modal analysis method has been validated by comparison with different results and measurements. The potential output of the software is indicated and some examples of applications are given.
