Commercial gas cooling: an investment opportunity.
Author(s) : NOWAKOWSKI G. A., CORNELL T. L.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Simple payback analysis does not provide sufficient information, and can be effectively used in conjunction with criteria such as return on investment, internal rate of return and net present value. When evaluated in these terms, projects with even four to five year payback often exceed industry financial returns on investment and internal rate of return. Examines four case studies which demonstrate that this often does occur. (See also IIR Bulletin, ref. 99-1501.)
